This past week, I watched a delightful film based on a true story.
The women of the Knapley WI set out with the humble goal of raising 5,000 British pound Sterling to help their local hospital's Leukemia ward. Their valiant efforts coupled with the unforeseen smash success of their alternative calendar has led to hundreds of thousands of dollars being raised for the Leukemia Research Foundation.

The Women�s Institute, or �WI� exists to educate women to enable them to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their horizons and to develop and pass on important skills.
