Today the fate of Morris Brown was sealed. The private, Atlanta institution of higher learning lost its accreditation. Morris Brown will also loose its membership in The United Negro College Fund.
*sigh*
This marks a sad occasion for current students, faculty, alum and prospective Freshman.
In an act of prudence, I hope and pray that all other HBCUs and members of the UNCF, are, in the very least, reviewing their expenditures, record keeping and accounting, and making changes where appropriate.
We can�t afford to have any more Morris Browns'�
I am getting bad feelings about this. I sure hope I�m wrong.
