Yesterday was a really quiet day.
In between meals, we watched television, slept, and talked on our respective cell phones.
I was really surprised to receive so many calls.
Each time my phone rang I smiled.
Folks wanted to, and needed to reach out.
In my heart, that's what the holidays are all about.
